How the
service works
The system is
delivered ready to use, so it
can be tried
out right away.
The process is
as follows:
 |
The
technician visits the user to try out the system for the first time.
|
 |
The user must
choose which programs will be used, advised by the technician. There are
freeware programs, such as on-screen keyboards, that have no cost. In the
case of commercial software, the user must buy it, with help from the
technician if necessary.
|
 |
The system is
ordered formally, and Iriscom
is sent. Delivery usually takes from 2 to 3 weeks.
|
 |
The
technician installs the system
on the computer along with the software specified by the client,
configures it, and checks that everything works
perfectly
|
 |
The
technician delivers the pre-installed system to the client at their house,
and teaches him/her, and the people who will help, how to use the system
and the programs installed. Usually this training
will not
take more than a day. |
This training
is divided into two areas:
 |
Teaching the
user how to work the
system and the on-screen keyboard.
|
 |
Teaching the
people who will help him/her (family, therapists, etc.),
not only how to use it
but also how to configure it, re-calibrate it,
place the user in a
correct position, use it
correctly, and solve any
little problems that might arise. |
